When it’s time to venture back indoors, residents convene along the small commercial strip on Portola that serves the area. Here you’ll find high-end groceries, coffee shops and bakeries, as well as basic services like a drugstore and gas station. While nights are quiet, many residents delight in the dining options afforded in nearby Glen Park and West Portal. Miraloma Park is home to a classic clubhouse built around 1940 and operated by the Miraloma Park Improvement Club. It hosts many private events as well as an annual holiday bazaar, just one of many events that encourage neighbors to get together.
