It’s been another wild year in SF real estate. The median sale price for a condo is $1,100,000 which is up more than 15% from a year ago. Single family home prices jumped almost 13% to $1,250,000. As we enter 2016, that strong upward trend is likely going to cool. With mortgage interest rates increasing and international financial markets showing more signs of instability, my prediction is that we’re likely heading toward a somewhat less robust seller’s market than we have seen in the last few years.
